Supporting Coteau Range Manor in Avonlea

There’s something truly special about small towns like Avonlea - the way people look out for one another, the sense of belonging, and the pride that runs deep through generations.

At Moose Jaw Co-op, that spirit of community is at the heart of everything we do, and it’s why we’re so proud to support the places and people who have helped shape the communities we serve.

Recently, our Moose Jaw Co-op Board of Directors approved a $25,000 donation to the Coteau Range Manor, a private seniors’ care home in Avonlea that provides Level I to IV care in a warm, rural setting. The Manor is more than a facility - it’s home to residents who helped build the very foundation of the Avonlea community.

This funding will help the Manor begin much-needed renovations to update flooring throughout the manor, keeping the space bright, safe, and comfortable for residents and visitors alike. The supplies are being ordered through our Avonlea Home Centre, with the work being completed by local contractors - a full-circle investment that supports both the residents and the local economy.

The excitement and gratitude we’ve received from the residents and staff at Coteau Range Manor have been heartwarming. Their appreciation reminds us why we do what we do - to make a difference close to home.

And it’s about ensuring that places like Coteau Range Manor continue to be pillars of care, comfort, and dignity for those who once cared for us.
