2025 AGM & Board of Directors

2025 AGM & Board of Directors
May 15, 2025

Thank you to everyone who attended the Moose Jaw Co-op Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

We are pleased to announce returning Directors for 2025:

Tracy Eklund (Returning)

My name is Tracy Eklund. I have had the honor of being on the Board of Director’s for Moose Jaw Co-op for 8 years. I am not originally from Moose Jaw, but I have lived here for over 20 years. While my kids were growing up, they were very involved with school activities and extracurricular sports and I worked outside of Moose Jaw, at the University of Regina. I did not have a lot of extra time then. When the kids were older and either finished high school or not in as many extracurricular activities, I was happy to join the Board of Director’s, to meet more people and to learn more about the Co-op system. I have completed most of the Director Training offered through FCL and I have had the privilege of going to many Fall Conferences and AGM’s. I found my 3-year term was mostly learning about the Co-op and my role in it. Since then, I have enjoyed working with the other directors and I am excited about the projects that our Co-op has completed since I started. Moose Jaw Co-op is heading in a very exciting direction, and I would really like to be part of it. I have been on the Member Relations Committee since I joined the Board, and I have really enjoyed being able to see how the Co-op impacts the community and how much we are a part of making the community successful.

Sid Wilson (Returning)

I am Sid Wilson. I have been a resident of Moose Jaw since 1993 when my wife, myself and our son moved here. shortly there after we had gotten our Moose Jaw co-op membership and have been a proud member ever since. I drove truck for a short three years after moving to Moose Jaw but needed to be grounded at home because we were expecting our second child. I acquired a job with the rural municipality of Moose Jaw number 161 and worked as an operator, looking after roads and eventually moving my way up into the foreman position where I now look after four employees that maintain and look after the road system in the municipality. I have been with the municipality for 28 years. In 2017 I put my name forward to sit on the Moose Jaw Co-op Board of Directors and have enjoyed my time there very much watching the Co-op grow very successfully and expanding itself in the surrounding communities.

With your support, I would like to stay as a board member with the Moose Jaw Co-op and continue being a part of the future of the Moose Jaw Co-op.

Quinn Wolff (Returning)

My name is Quinn Wolff. I grew up and currently reside with my wife and 3 boys in Liberty Sask. I am a grain farmer in Liberty, and I also work as a process operator at K+S Potash in Bethune. I was a board member of the Liberty Co-op for 8 years. I was the president for my last 3 years on the board before we amalgamated with Moose Jaw Co-op in 2023. I have continued to sit on the Moose Jaw Co-op board since the amalgamation. In 2020 I was elected as a councillor for the Resort Village of Etters Beach and served the role until stepping down in 2024. I am also in the Liberty Service Club and serve as the food convenor. The club undertakes several fundraising events throughout the year to maintain our village parks and facilities, as well as donating funds to various sports and activities for our children. When I am not farming or mining, I enjoy travelling, ski/snowboard trips, and rec hockey in the winter, and spending time at the cabin on Last Mountain Lake in the summer. Being on the Co-op Board, I enjoy being a part of the excitement moving forward and facing new challenges to create a better future, as well as looking back to see the obstacles we have overcome. I look forward to your support to keep growing this co-operative to be as strong and diverse as possible.
