Moose Jaw Co-op is hiring a full-time Service and Logistics Representative to support the needs of our Agriculture Division!

Why You’ll Love This Role:
The Service and Logistics Representative demonstrates day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen the Moose Jaw Co-op’s values, mission, and vision. This individual will be responsible for various field technician duties including soil collection, infield sampling, and field mapping. You will also operate essential equipment like fertilizer floaters and seed treating equipment, complete product deliveries, and oversee equipment logistics. Additionally, you will perform repairs and maintenance, ensuring our facilities and equipment are in top condition. Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers is a key aspect of this role.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Complete product deliveries and equipment logistics
• Conduct soil collection and infield sampling with accuracy to detail
• Ensure accuracy in sample collection, documentation, and organizing and labeling shipping requirements
• Perform field mapping tasks
• Operate fertilizer floaters and seed treating equipment
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment
• Maintain facilities and equipment
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Promote a culture of safety and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications include:
• Valid Class 1A license with a clean abstract
• High school diploma required
• Relevant experience in agriculture-related area is an asset
• Direct experience as a farm or industry equipment operator is an asset
• Practical understanding of equipment operations
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations related to application rates, quantities, and volumes.
• Demonstrable intellectual ability to perform calculations accurately and confidently
• Willingness to work extra hours during peak agriculture seasons
• Ability to understand and meet expectations with minimal instruction
• Strong desire to provide an excellent customer experience
• Physical strength and proficiency for demanding tasks
