Moose Jaw Co-op is hiring a full-time Community Relations Coordinator at our Administrative Office in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

Why You’ll Love This Role:
As the Community Relations Coordinator, you’ll play vital role in supporting Moose Jaw Co-op’s community and employee engagement strategy by coordinating events, programs, communications, and public relations activities that strengthen relationships with members, employees, and community partners.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Assist in planning, organizing, and delivering internal and external events, including employee engagement activities and community fundraisers events.
- Manage event logistics, including meeting space bookings, supply ordering, volunteer coordination, catering, and scheduling.
- Draft and prepare content for internal and external communications.
- Assist with social media and communication briefs for the Marketing Department.
- Capture and share stories, testimonials, photos, and video content from community initiatives to highlight impact and engagement.
- Track and process donation and sponsorship requests, including documentation and follow-up.
- Provide administrative support to the Director, Community Relations, including coordination of CEO-assigned and Board-related tasks.
- Maintain professional, respectful, and positive relationships with employees, members, and community partners.
- Provide timely and effective support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Remain informed of applicable legislation, trends, and best practices in community engagement, public relations, and communications.
- Pursue continuous professional development to enhance effectiveness and knowledge.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold Moose Jaw Co-op’s standards of professionalism and ethics.
- Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and brand standards.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or a related discipline is required.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in Communications, Public Relations, or Executive Administration will also be considered.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in community engagement, event coordination, communications, or executive-level administrative support.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate projects, and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high morals and business ethics.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Hold a valid Class 5 license (some travel may be required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Passion for people, community, and making a difference.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support events or activities outside of regular hours when required.
