The Moose Jaw Co-op is welcoming applications for a positive and enthusiastic Pharmacy Manager to lead our Hillcrest Pharmacy location in Moose Jaw SK.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Division Manager, this position is responsible for the operation of our Hillcrest Pharmacy location including planning, executing, and achieving location objectives that align with the overall organizational strategy. The Pharmacy Manager is the driving force in the execution of a world class patient care experience that translates into an environment that ensures people make the healthiest choices quickly, easily, and confidently. You will lead our Pharmacy & Home Health Care line and have a strong commitment to delivering consistent positive experiences and an outstanding level of customer service.

As Pharmacy Manager you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Manage the delivery of Pharmacy functions at the highest of standards, including accurate preparation and counselling of medication
• Provide leadership and support to the Pharmacy Team in practicing with the expanded scope-of-practice – including medication reviews, developing care plans and follow-ups, injections, etc. and in the Home Health Care line of business
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations
• Be responsible for communication, planning, organizing, implementation and execution within the Pharmacy
• Be motivated to grow our Pharmacy business and committed to providing exceptional customer service
• Build and maintain relationships with internal & external customers and team members, while ensuring that the administrative requirements of the role are maintained on an ongoing basis
• Develop business relationships with local health care providers
• Be safety aware and contribute to building and sustaining our positive safety culture

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Licensed and able to practice pharmacy in Saskatchewan (and be in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists)
• Demonstrated initiative and drive for results; excels in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills, good communication and leadership skills
• Experience supervising a Pharmacy team
• Ability to handle multiple demands - adaptable, organized, efficient and committed
• Ability to work proactively as a member of a dynamic and energetic team
• Willingness to be a part of the community
• Willing to actively participate in patients’ healthcare outcomes
• Willingness to participate in various managed care initiatives (osteoporosis, diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension & asthma) and wellness clinics within the community
• Experience with Home Health Care products would be an asset
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
