Why You’ll Love This Role:
As the Gas Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Gas Bar/C-Store and Carwash, including managing the day-to-day operations and planning for the direction of the Gas Bar. Achieve budgeted goals related to pricing, sales, margin, expenses, and inventory and execute departmental initiatives that support the Moose Jaw Co-op’s vision, mission and values. Achieve established objectives in terms of brand, customer experience, employee experience, quality, and timeliness of delivery and identify areas for improvement. Recruit, train, develop, coach, and motivate Team Members while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all employees in the pursuit of desired results.

Reporting to the Gar Bar Operations Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Assist the Gas Bar Operations Manager in communicating operational requirements, operational changes, and translate the vision into departmental initiatives.
• Ensures a prompt, efficient, and friendly customer experience is provided at all times.
• Provide leadership to the location including recruitment, onboarding, retention, training, performance management, scheduling, timecard management, and resolution of employee relations matters of direct reports.
• Actively monitor areas of responsibility for theft and loss prevention risks.
• Be responsible for living the Moose Jaw Co-op brand by striving to achieve our vision and mission, and actively promoting our brand values.
• Be required to maintain the confidentiality required of the position and demonstrate high morals and business ethics.
• Be required to plan for and take initiative to continually improve knowledge, skills, abilities and attitudes as it relates to personal development.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Grade 12 education
• 5+ years of relevant experience with 2+ years of leadership experience required
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
